Introduction

Nanjing Huafa Yihe Seasons is located at the core development area of Yanziji, the main city of Nanjing with the total GFA of 170,000 sqm. The project provides 8 residential buildings with 28-33 floors and a built-in group of 2-3 floor-height commercial buildings with the area of approx. 1.4 sqm. The project is equipped with a high-quality elite clubhouse with a constant-temperature swimming pool, fitness area, and a small craftsman school.
In terms of innovative design, the sales office of Nanjing Huafa Yihe Seasons is inspired by the urban personalities of Nanjing, with which the design co-exists with the characteristics of classicism, fashion, dignity and literature.
In terms of design concept, the design adopts the contemporary language to reinterpret the concept of fashion, elegance and freedom of life which promotes the perspective of home orientation and lifestyle, and comprehensively enhance the psychological premium of space for prospective owners.
In terms of the design highlights, the front reception area is designed in bright and spacious style. The interior design is inspired by the architectural language. The space is created in the simple, bright and powerful form. The color combination is simple and elegant. The white-colour space is highlighted by the details of dark metal trimming to express the visual impression of museum. In the negotiation area nearby the window side, the design uses floor-to-ceiling and clear glass windows to blur the boundaries between indoor and outdoor spaces which greatly introduces the outdoor scenery into the interior. The design also makes use of the light and shadow to compose a romantic movement from time to time, and restore the aesthetic space co-existed with the human and nature. On the other hands, in the negotiation area below the 2nd floor, the design adopts the warm wood veneer and warm ambient light to express a soft humanistic temperament which awakens the internal spiritual enjoyment of the visitors.
The design draws the inspiration from the mortise and tenon structure of Nanjing's ancient buildings and embedded the zigzag-shaped island bar between the two columns, so that it can serve both internal and external negotiation areas at the same time. Besides, the spiral staircase presents a poetic and elegant form and temperament in structure which constructs a rather dynamic spatial volume.
In terms of project sustainability, in order to take full advantage of the north-south layout for interior natural ventilation and lighting, the design reduces the use of electrical appliances and lamps for the energy reservation. At the same time, the thermal insulation coating is used to reduce the increase of indoor temperature caused by sunlight in summer time while reducing the cooling energy consumption ratio, thereby actively meeting the environmental protection requirements of energy saving and emission reduction. Moreover, with the use of factory fabrication and on-site assembly construction methods, the project is optimized the construction process through effective scientific methods to carry out relevant construction works, which effectively reduces energy consumption and reduces construction and decoration waste production, while also effectively improving work and time efficiency.
