Project
Introduction
As the most high – end department store in Shandong Province, Qingdao Hisense Plaza is adjacent to the Olympic Sailing Base, enjoying a unique geographical advantage. It has 45 floors above ground and a total construction area of 45,000 square meters.
During the design process, the project fully took into account the Shanghai – style cultural characteristics of Qingdao, the bustling atmosphere of the location, and the regional advantage of being adjacent to the Olympic Sailing Base. The building’s shape was ingeniously designed into an arc – shaped curve. This not only symbolizes the surging waves of the Yellow Sea in the distance but also expresses the enterprising and self – transcending spirit of Hisense Company.
The south facade is designed to resemble the shimmering scales of surging waves, while the north facade uses gray granite, which symbolizes Laoshan Mountain. Eventually, they converge at the northwest entrance. This design not only perfectly aligns with the indoor commercial circulation route but also creates an extraordinary architectural image, making Hisense Plaza an eternal landmark in the eastern part of the city.
