Tseng Cuo an Misoohi Hidden Place Sea View Homestay
Winner of 2023 Prize

Project
Introduction

The yearning for the sea is probably depicted in the bones and blood of human beings. Zeng Cuo 埯 is located in the southeast of Xiamen. It was originally a village near the sea. It is also known as the most artistic fishing village, integrating the original natural landscape and culture. Here you can look directly at the sea and talk to the sea. Carve out the best place for people to rest and relax. In order to blend functional homestay into a landscape that resembles a painting by Monet, designer ingenuity and architectural elements have been added to create a new sea view homestay at Zoncuo 埯Misoohi. Give space value and elegance, and create a spiritual journey between man and nature.
The entry point is the view, which is probably the highest comment guests can make about the room. The designer placed a large area of glass Windows into the interior, introducing the natural scenery and light and shadow poetry, forming an interactive dialogue between the inside and outside of the building. Side eyes full of blue sea, the head is starry, adding endless romantic color to the whole room. The curved round arch design creates a cave-like original style, and together with the plain wall, it shows a rustic rough feeling. Light and shadows rise and fall like waves throughout the house, delineating the boundaries and lines of the building. While strengthening the arc tension, it extends the visual breadth brought by the curved surface.

Modern Garden in a Classical Residence from the Republic of China
Winner of 2023 Prize

Design of TOP 100 Designer

Project
Introduction

In the long river of time, an old residence from the Republic of China stands still. It has witnessed the passage of time and carried countless memories. However, time is relentless, and this residence is gradually becoming dilapidated and needs a brand new transformation to rejuvenate itself.
Our design team accepted this challenge with the intention of preserving the original structure of the residence while incorporating innovative and interesting design elements. Our goal is to create a forest-themed coffee shop where people can feel the breath of nature and escape the hustle and bustle of city life.
Stepping into this coffee shop is like traveling through time and space, arriving at an ancient courtyard residence. The doorframe of the ancient residence is filled with marks of time, as if telling stories of the past. As you push the door open, what greets your eyes is a garden full of greenery. The flowers, plants, and trees in the garden have been meticulously pruned and arranged in a harmonious manner. Sunlight filters through the gaps between leaves, casting dappled light and shadows, giving people a sense of tranquility and comfort.
In the center of the courtyard lies a sky well, connecting the indoor and outdoor spaces. The design of the sky well is full of creativity, with moss and stone paths added, allowing people to stroll and appreciate the beauty of nature. Around the sky well is a circle of wooden seats for rest and gathering. Here, you can enjoy tea and chat with friends or sit alone, enjoying a moment of peace.
The interior design of the coffee shop also combines ancient and modern elements. The walls retain the original brick structure but are repolished and painted to give them a new look. A row of wooden ceiling lamps hangs from the ceiling, emitting soft light and creating a warm atmosphere. The furniture in the coffee shop is made of raw wood, simple yet elegant.
In addition to traditional coffee drinks, we have introduced modern Japanese dessert elements. There is a delicate dessert counter in one corner of the coffee shop, offering various delicious desserts. Whether it's a rich latte or a refreshing fruit salad, it can satisfy different tastes.
This transformed coffee shop has become an urban oasis for young people to escape the hustle and bustle. Here, they can distance themselves from the busy pace of life and immerse themselves in the embrace of nature. Whether it's gathering with friends or enjoying a cup of coffee alone, this place can bring them a sense of tranquility and relaxation.

Xiangyang School

Project
Introduction

Design roams in order, it is the emotional interaction of silent objects. The case of 'Qingkou Xiangyang School', as a modern teaching venue, incorporates traditional Chinese teaching concepts into its spatial layout, but also breaks free from the romantic leisure space filled with modern consciousness.
As a place for teenagers to learn, the clever design of the space will bring them more beautiful memories and perceptions. The value and emotion of space also increase, and students learn from each other, and people live up to their meeting.
The hall of Chinese Studies uses brick red and white as the main color of the space, bringing the simple beauty of new Chinese style into the space. With silence as the core, the rectangle at the top of the ceiling shows rationality through order arrangement.
The whole hall is light and transparent, integrating green plants into the space, and further demonstrating the relationship between human and nature in Chinese philosophy. The reverence and treasure of nature inspire people's innate desire for nature.
The aisles show a fresh Zen, and bring out the charm and greenery of trees through large areas of white space and simplicity, which is the natural aesthetic proposition that Chinese people have always respected. Learning in the beautiful space, time will become more and more slow.
The classroom reduces the interference of impetuous decoration, and multiple open Windows and ceiling lights ensure sufficient light in the space, providing a basic guarantee for students' eyesight. At the same time, modern multimedia devices are embedded in the space to enrich the classroom elements.
Reception leisure, with social attributes of the reception room, simple and orderly, the design inadvertently let the negotiation become comfortable and warm. Get visitors to stay more and talk better.
When it comes to the Hanging gardens, people always think of the legendary Hanging Gardens of ancient Babylon. In the campus, the design of the sky garden combines the spatial attributes to think, and brings a space that combines beauty and leisure for teenagers during their study breaks.
The art hall presents a space for aesthetic education without interference through geometry, sculpture and retro colors, allowing aesthetic education to open without interference, allowing creativity and perception to grow indefinitely here.
Clean and delicious is actually the most direct expectation of people for the canteen, and through the design of the diversity of colors into it, to express the vitality of youth, more experience can also happen here.
The dormitory is divided into multiple rooms and double rooms, and the capacity of the space also changes according to the needs of different individuals. However, it does not depart from its comfortable and secure bedroom environment to develop the design. Go to bed and get off the table, make life comfortable, relieve fatigue.

Introduction

Key words: deep in the sea / dark blue
1.Banquet hall:
The elements: dark blue, sparkling, waves, swimming fish, foam, whales, jellyfish.
Dynamic elements combining with the effect of gradual changing lighting in the middle create a magical deep sea world.
2.Ceiling: The curling waves refract light from different angles. The most amazing scenery is the sparkling sea surface flowing overhead in the deep sea world. The combination of sound, light, LED, color, autostereoscopy technology, as well as various elements make the banquet hall much more immersive.
The lights overhead reflect the dark blue ocean. Flowers are blooming along the stage. The songs sung by the oceans giants - whales are sounded like guiding the direction so that people can find each other.
3.Dark blue:The color of “the heart of the ocean” in the movie Titanic, shinning brightly.
The dark blue parallel world below the sea level is peaceful and serene.
But it has endless growth energy that ground cannot be compared with.
Falling into the Atlantis and watching the whales wandering leisurely, fish gathering in crowds and groups, jellyfish leading the way ahead.
Sea and fish, you and me,love and freedom.

The Happiness of Nordic Home Furnishings
A comfortable and warm design can cleverly improve the quality of life. Before this homeowner's design, there are two simple and concise points: warmth and freehand brushwork. The living room is not large in size, so the kitchen is designed with semi transparent glass to enhance the transparency and extension of the space, and equipped with window sills to increase the natural light flow into every corner of the house. The kitchen glass partition is also a set of storage cabinets, fully utilizing the space while perfectly enhancing the design of the living room. In addition, the homeowner likes to gather with family and friends for a small drink during their leisure time, so they use the windowsill to expand their enjoyment of space

Project
Introduction

Completion time: October, 2022.
Location in: New Taipei City, Taiwan.
The core of the project is to link and connect the space. The designer uses artistic paint in different shades of gray to link the various areas to create a comfortable visual expression while expressing the continuity of the space with concrete volumes and abstract concepts.
The designer adjusts the original layout and makes an extension table from the foyer as a kitchen island. The position of the kitchen island is just right to distinguish the public and private areas. Its existence also makes a functional meaning of linking independent areas. It will become the core of family life.
In the public area, the entrance door and the window are on a horizontal line. Due to the Feng-Shui concern of not seeing the window when opening the door, the designer adds a glass screen here. However, this will increase the wind resistance in the room and affect the ventilation. To solve this, the designer installs a positive and negative pressure ventilation system in the ceiling from the foyer to the living room to provide fresh air.
In the Scandinavian style, the designer put the hotel-like comfort and leisure design as the core. He reorganized the layout so that the client can enjoy the aesthetics of the space. Artistic paint and wood grain can be seen in the space, and the distribution of shades of color provides a fresh and refreshing visual impression.
In terms of function, based on satisfying clients' habits, the designer transforms the irregular area into storage space. The setup of the cabinet makes the space more straightforward in terms of traffic flow. Moreover, the designer installs a positive and negative pressure ventilation system on the ceiling beam to provide fresh air.
The original plan of the site was confusing. In particular, the beam that crosses through the public area is huge and low, making the layout appear very abrupt no matter how it is planned. However, to achieve a comfortable and hotel-like feeling, the designer takes the natural height difference of the beam to achieve good air circulation. And visually, the extension of the beams serves as the kitchen island on the horizontal line, forming the illusion that the lines extend to the outdoors.
"Life is a series of beauty strung together to form a wonderful story."
This is a warm and welcoming home for every family member. Its neutral and charming color scheme can meet everyone's aesthetics. From the extreme black of the master bedroom to the gray of the second bedroom, all the tones are finally integrated into the public area, making life an exciting story made of a series of beauty.

Introduction

In more than 2,000 years ago China, teaching and learning also took place around tree. Learning should be as dynamic as natural trees, not rigid and boring, even it's professional technology. The glass walls on both sides of the classroom allow the outdoor garden environment to come into the indoor teaching space, integrating teaching with the garden environment.
This project is to build a construction training center, including process construction, mechanical operation and Prefabricated construction staff training. The venue is divided into administrative and curriculum theory teaching area, outdoor training area, prefabricated assembly worker training area.
The design attempts to use modern architecture light and shadow techniques to blend traditional Chinese architectural elements.
For let the facade interacts with the sunlight, the south-facing side wall (most obvious changes in sunlight and shadow) is cut to oblique wall of different lengths by the western golden ratio.
The indoors can also feel the changes of the outdoor environment,
sunlight is also introduced into the room through the gaps between the oblique walls, which filled with Chinese-style perforated bricks.
We were looking for a simple and light pavilion form with structural engineer during the design of the steel structure sunshade pavilion. Finally, it's like a thin object suspended in mid-air.
