Project
Introduction
The project is located on the south mountainside of Xianhu Tourist Resort of Yingde. The view, which overlooks the whole resort area, including the rich Karst landscape, is incredibly beautiful. The original building is a private house, and now it will be upgraded into a castle art hotel that integrates natural beauty and contemporary art collections. The design takes “the ultimate experience, spiritual fortress” as the concept, fully combining the terrain, and the building is stepped back layer by layer, so that each space can enjoy an excellent view. Art collection is incorporated into space design. From architecture to landscape, from public activity areas to indoors, the scenery changes with every step, showing the charm of the combination of art and landscape, providing every guest with an unparalleled stay experience.

Mr. Huang Yang has spent over twenty years exploring making simple, modest and moving architecture. His work experience covers well-known international companies, domestic top design institutes, and well-known domestic private enterprises. He and like-minded friends founded an architectural studio that can give full play to his creativity. His body of work spans a range of conceptual design, scheme design, development design, construction drawing design and field service, which enables him to think about problems in all directions and provide creative solutions. He designs with rigorous logic while keenly giving each building a unique emotion.
Whether at the scale of a hotel, a cultural architecture, an office or a house, everything is traceable back to a consistent set of preoccupations with mass, form, space, proportion, light, material, color, texture, details, even something as modest as door handles can become vehicle for much broader ideas about how we live and what we value.
