Bring the Miniature Waterfall into a Song-Style Mansion | TAIZHOU C&D·YANGYUN
TAIZHOU C&D·YANGYUN is located in the Jiaojiang District of Taizhou, where we take advantage of this fairyland to build a city of elegance with a classical and refined craftsmanship heritage. Whether it is porcelain, painting, or calligraphy, the Song Dynasty’s aesthetic that has led for 1000 years, when looked back upon today, is still elegant and refined, exquisitely beautiful. YANGYUN is a romantic re-enactment of the Song-style aesthetic experience. Based on the in-depth study of Song Dynasty culture and architectural characteristics, Zhiyi Design has joined hands with C&D Real Estate to create a new product series [Elegant Song Charm], using the craftsmanship techniques of [lightness, leisure, clarity, and gold] to trace and translate the culture of the product, truly replicating the elegant market of the Song Dynasty, abstractly condensing the impression of Song charm, and presenting the magnificent scene of thousands of miles of rivers and mountains.
Asymmetric Roof, Light and Graceful
The main gate’s roof outlines a distinctive contour with the freehand brushwork of Song charm, inspired by the West Water Gate in the “Map of Jinling”. To highlight the grandeur of the mansion’s entrance, a special “double eaves” design was made, with the eaves refined into a hollow, upward-curving golden line, which not only shows the Song-style architecture’s relaxed and distant posture but also has a transcendent and refined implication. The facade lines are smooth and rhythmic, light and translucent, as pure as porcelain, and the flying and free-spirited roof is just the right touch to highlight the refined and refined scholar’s style of the Song Dynasty.
Three-Step Courtyard, Seven-Court Layout
“How deep is the courtyard, with willows smoky and curtains countless.” The general style of Song Dynasty courtyards is simple in overall scene but profound in artistic conception, good at creating the artistic conception of depth through the form of borrowing scenery such as mountains and rivers. The overall courtyard layout constructs a “three-step seven-court” elegant living situation, with a hidden bridge suspended over the water, connecting people’s lives, the green shadows of trees, and the breeze swaying, adding a touch of fun and poetic experience to the habitat.
Enjoy Tea and Appreciate Scenery, Elegant Affairs
Wu Zimu, a man of the Song Dynasty, said in “Mengliang Lu”: “Burning incense, making tea, hanging paintings, and inserting flowers, these four leisurely things should not be tiring for the family.” The “four elegant” of the Song people’s life, which shows the aesthetics of life to the fullest. Our indoor and outdoor space concept is also cleverly integrated with this sensory art and spatial layout, thereby expressing one’s own connotation and spiritual realm.
Taking the meaning of the “Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains” painting, borrowing the brushwork of Tiantai Mountain’s waterfall
TAIZHOU C&D·YANGYUN has meticulously created an immersive three-dimensional sunken club, forming a 270° three-sided screen surrounding pattern with the courtyard. The rare about 20m wide super long falling waterfall in Taizhou, like a galaxy pouring down, presents the aesthetic of being in the painting. Stepping into it, it seems as if you have traveled through a time-space tunnel, arriving at the paradise described by the ancients.
